Robert Court - Marketing Portfolio

Welcome to the portfolio of some of my work.

My most recent role: The University of Auckland

My role within the University of Auckland Business School was very varied and involved a wide variety of creative and strategic projects. Here are a few examples. Where appropriate I've specified if I coordinated the work or delivered it by myself:
For this video I interviewed a student who had won a scholarship to go to the USA. The post received 17,000 organic impressions on Facebook and 7,000+ video views (whilst I was within my role) within a short period of time and had the second highest organic engagement of all Facebook posts. It was also used as a blog.

To film this I used an iPad, microphone and tripod and edited the video myself.

I was personally responsible for all promotion on Facebook and whilst working at the Business School significantly grew interaction mostly through the use of video. View the full report here: Facebook.
Filmed and edited by myself at an event featuring Google. The objectives were to raise the profile of the Business School as a place that helps you get an amazing job. Google was also very pleased with the level of promotion I provided boosting the reputation of the Business School.

National Volunteer Week video filmed and edited and put live by myself within a few hours.
Facebook live Q&A for students to view who culdn't attend the Course and Careers Open Day or for those students and parents to watch after the event. Promoted using Facebook Adverts by myself. Filmed using an iPad, microphone and tripod.
Video shot by professional videographers but uploaded and marketed by myself. The video received a very high engagement rate mostly because I ensured it was tagged correctly including both the business and individual. This strategy grew the LinkedIn Page by over 2000 (by the time I left) followers organically from a target audience that had been very hard to engage with in the past.

This video was used as part of a strategic campaign that I was heavily involved with. Shot by professionals but advertised and promoted by myself. I organised a Mandarin translator and reedited the video with Chinese captions to be used on Weebo working in collaboration with the International Office.

Swansea University work

Working with Swansea University as a Digital Marketer between April 2015 - June 2017. The role was carried out on a part time basis for the Swansea Employability Academy (SEA)

​The role for SEA has also involved being a 'brand ambassador' ensuring that the brand is protected online and also consistent and visible.  One such activity I undertook was to ensure all the social media sites used the same username to help promotion offline and also protect the brand name:

Commissioning Vloggers for the Great Weekend of Adventure

I planned commissioned and delivered a Vlogging campaign over the first weekend in April 2016. The vloggers posted live to social media over 3 days as they did 7 'epic' adventures throughout Wales. View the full vlog here or watch a clip:
Day 3 Highlights - The Great Weekend of Adventure

Day 3 of The Great Weekend of Adventure is over and WE ARE DONE! Today was unbelievable and we have used up every last ounce of adrenaline in our bodies.
